I bought these due to one side of my Cowl needed an entire replacement. It just wasn't there when I financed the vehicle and it was something I completely overlooked. This part sort helps regulate/direct how much water can get down into your motor area under the hood and rust up stuff in that area. However, that all being said, it would have been nice if the little push clip-pin came with the parts. I also needed that piece as well and I thought maybe I'd of received one for both of these pieces but overall I'm just glad to have the part on the car now. It clips onto the main cowl panel and under the corner/window panel so it's secure but ill definitely be looking for a pin-clip for it. I bought a whole Pack of them but the size I need for the Cowl Panel wasn't in there. That's the only reason I rated this a 4 out of 5 stars though. I have a 2016 subaru crosstrek limited so if that's the car you have and need this part for, it's a perfect exact fit, just make sure you shop separately for the Cowl Side panel clip.
