It's super small. Doesn't stay together. And holds barely any crickets. Cause all the other ones escaped

The size listed is 19.7"X19.7"X7". It is NO WHERE near that big. It measures 6"X4.5". I bought a bigger one at the pet store for $13. I'm requesting to return the item for a refund and they're giving me a hard time. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The space above the insertion stick, the rare specimen CAN climb out there and wriggle out, especially if you're using small crickets. You could always pull it out between feedings, but they're gonna need you to put hides in there and it seems a fuss when that bit could've just been constructed better.Which is honestly an anomaly because everything else with this is well engineered. The fall-through bottom makes cleanup of cricket leavings a breeze, the texture inside the tube is thoughtful, the shallow feeding pans built to be just the right size give the best access possible to food without having to scrape it off the floor. The only other thing I'd note is to put it somewhere stable it's not gonna be bumped in, because the top comes off way easy. Crickets will do better somewhere dark and isolated anyway, though, so it's not a hard accommodation, just don't stick it in a cabinet your cat likes to sneak into or something.
