These master links look stout enough and come with a light coat of clear grease on the link and o-rings. Are they a genuine DID product? I have no idea - they're stamped 525HV and have what looks like a DID logo stamped into the side plate, but other than that I cannot guess. I strongly suspect they're counterfeit, but they look sturdy enough to get you out of the woods and home, where you can replace the temporary clip-type master link with a riveted master link, so hey, that's all you really need, right? Would I install one and then ride to Alaska? No way, but I'll trust them to get riding again and home or to a place where I can install a better master link.

Quality masterlinks. Fit and finish is pretty good. Nice secure clip not loose. Always a good idea to have 1 or 2 of these in your tool pouch. These fit my chain perfectlygood quality would recommend

Hasn't failed on me yet at 5k since install. I usually use rivet style and wanted these to keep on my bike for emergency, but my chain didn't come with it's rivet so I just used one of these and it's been working fine.

I've been using RK and DID chains for many years and never had any issues with the chains or master links. I recently bought a DID 525HV chain, so these are perfect and will come in handy for my next chain replacement coming up soon. Good quality, as expected from DID.
