Awesome design. I made two 8 foot gates that work great now. I added wheel jacks in order to take stress off the fence post. If you are tired of crappy gates that don't work properly like I was, then this is your solution. A bit pricey but you will forget about how much you paid after you are staring at your awesome new gates that work. My neighbor is jealous because his big gates are stupid and sagging like most of them do. This design doesn't let that happen. You won't regret it. Do it!

My MIL has a small courtyard and was using a pet-fence to keep her dogs in. My wife takes our dogs there for grooming (her sister comes and they make a day of it). I was worried about my pet's safety because it's a very busy street so I offered to put up gates as a sort of Mother's Day gift. I intended to use both but it turned out (due to my measuring) that the back gate needed to be bigger. So now I have an extra one because you can't return half of the set. Anyway...I really like these. They are well made. As usual, I made a few improvements like a "return spring" (not included) to close the gate and I used different screws. Thanks to wife for painting it, (shown). I just build stuff.

Super easy install! Parts are solid and very heavy duty. I built a double gate that spanned 16 feet wide. Works great, I left room at the hinges so the gates can swing both ways. I will definitely buy again for the next job!

I built a 10 ft. gate using the double two 5 ft. gates. The Q&A indicated that this was possible. Adjust a Gate provides a very sturdy solution at an affordable price. The only part that was a problem was that the latch system provided with the kit does not work with a double gate. I went to the hardware store an figured out how to make something work. I would guess that the manufacture has the proper latch. This could be offered as an option by Amazon when you purchase. In summary, my gate no longer sags in the middle, it swing easily, and I am very pleased with the outcome

I would have given this kit 5 stars, except that it was sold as a driveway gate kit, and only included the latch assembly for a single gate use. If you buy this kit you will have to make your own system to keep both gates closed. Not a big deal if you are somewhat handy. I would highly recommend 2 drop rods be installed on the gates to keep them closed. I have a concrete driveway and already had drop rod holes from the previous steel gate I replaced. If you are worried about security, I would also install a large hasp so you can padlock shut when you leave the house for any extended time. It really is a quality product, I just wish the manufacturer had included something different than the latching hardware, which does not work with a double gate on a driveway.
