About this item

  • Perfect Fit: Choose the collar suitable for your pet from the size chart. If you’re unsure, please contact us. The depth measurement should be longer than the neck and snout measurement. This prevents your pet from reaching areas that need protection, such as the eyes, wounds, stitches, ears, mouth, and extremities. Adjust the collar to fit your dog’s neck with the wide Velcro straps. Secure the collar by tying the string at the neck for a perfect fit (for an ideal fit).
  • Comfortable Treatment Process: The Petsuit Elizabeth Collar is made from soft materials, prioritizing your pet's comfort. This feature ensures that your pet does not feel pain and helps prevent stress. Unlike other collars made from hard materials, it does not restrict your pet’s movement.
  • Ergonomic Design: The Petsuit Elizabeth Collar has the ideal design for your pet. Despite being soft, it maintains its geometric shape due to special materials inside and removable rods positioned at equal angles, preventing folding. You can remove the rods when your pet needs to eat or relieve itself (especially when cats enter the litter box), and it can be easily folded at the center crease.
  • Reliable: The Petsuit Elizabeth Collar is approved by veterinarians and has supported the recovery of thousands of patients. You can use it confidently to aid your pet's healing process.
  • Hygienic: Your pet may get the collar dirty while eating or drinking. The Petsuit Elizabeth Collar can be easily wiped clean, ensuring hygiene for your pet. (If you wish to clean the collar while your pet is wearing it, avoid using chemicals that could irritate their eyes or respiratory system, as this may cause discomfort.)

The design is great! I appreciate that they took into account that getting these on to dogs can sometimes be a task and so to remove for feedings gets tedious. For that they created a folding cone. It’s made of soft and padded material that is supported with firm, plastic removable rods that Velcro in. Then around the neck there is a red tie. The whole cone also has a large portion that is made of Velcro. It is extremely easy to clean.

I have 0 complaints about this product! My dog was neutered and we used this afterwards and it worked great! It's lightweight and flexible which really helps seeing as a dog doesn't like anyone around their neck as it is. A must have!

Has removable spines that give it structure but it does fan out rather wide. The spines are covered by Velcro flaps so they won't scratch you or your furnishings. Collar is flexible when the spines are out and can be folded back and velcroed to itself to permit easier eating and drinking. I wish it had reflective trim to improve visibility of the dog at night since her peripheral vision is very limited in this cone. One thing in both the pro and con column is that a collar is not used to anchor the cone; instead, it has a drawstring. That could represent a safety concern if your dog needs to be left alone in it. Unfortunately, in my case, in order to make the cone long enough to cover my dog's snout, I had to go up in size and the neck circumference is almost too big. She was able to get it off once and a determined dog could definitely squirm out of it. Overall, my girl seemed quite comfortable in it and it protected her from further injuring herself.

Not great. Doesn’t stay on properly.

This is a softer alternative to the old hard plastic cones. It would be a lot more comfortable, but it is heavier. I could use it on the dog I needed it for. It will work on one of my larger dogs if I need it so I’m keeping it. It is well-made and easy to put on. Materials that should hold up well cleaning.. I don’t know if getting a smaller size will lighten the weight enough to use on the dog I need for.

I like this style a lot more than the blowup donut style cones because he can sleep in it without his neck being cocked to the side. We had to get this when my dog scratched his eye and ended up with a corneal ulcer. It’s soft and also keeps him from getting to his eye with his feet. It also stays on really good.

My chocolate lab keeps licking his back paw and we’ve been trying different things to get him to stop. He is a big dog in height and length. He’s not overweight though so he is able to bend his body around to lick his foot easily. I decided to try this cone collar to see if it will prevent him from licking his paw. It looks like it is going to work. It is well made, and has a very large strip of Velcro to close it by. It is deep enough to where he cannot get his paw by his mouth. It has a red string around the neck side to tie, but I prefer not to have a string tied around his neck so I will just use the Velcro to close it.

Didn’t realize that for the small and XS sizes that there was an option that includes “long” or not. Apparently this one is not the long which I don’t know what this would be used for since it does not stop the dog from being able to reach areas. Going to try and return for the long version because otherwise this seems to be a good cone. I did not want inflatable so this material is great because it will be easy to clean, not irritating for my pup, and sturdy enough that it won’t be deterred from its purpose by being bumped or pawed at. The Velcro is sturdy, I have no other notes. You can see in my picture how this size does not work for my less than 5lb yorkie. Luckily it came pretty quick because I’m trying to get him used to wearing one before surgery in march. Will update if I’m able to replace with the long version and it’s better.
