I have used different types of captain bands. The bands with Velcro mark up the uniform sleeves and uniform sides. This band slides on and it does not harm the jersey.

These arm bands are a bit small, even for youth sizing. I put one on our 8-year old and I couldn’t velcro it all the way. After a while, he said it was too tight and wanted to take it off

I picked this up hoping to use them for my u12 girls soccer team. They look just as they do in the images, and seems to be well made. They fabric is stretching and the velcro closure allows for some additional adjustability. Unfortunately, they are a bit too large to fit around the arms of my girls (they just fall off). My wife is going to resew the velcro (or add new) to allow them to go smaller. I wish they came with a larger loop side to allow for more adjustability. That one point aside, they are great. It was nice to get 6 because inevitably some will get lost (or i can offer them to other teams).
