The tube that serves as a handle that you hold while cranking, came off after three uses.Certainly not the quality of equipment that came with the trailer.

This crank handle will last a lifetime, as it is very sturdy and well built. Unlike less expensive crank handles for RV stabilizers which have hex heads attached to the handle by a weak pin, the 3/4” hex head on the BAL 20032 crank handle is welded on. The grips on this handle are solid metal, and work quite well. A very nicely made item.

This thing is very solid. Totally replaced my need for using a drill when setting up on uneven terrain. It also fits perfectly in the dquare tube of a camper trailer bumper which is nice. All in all I couldn't ask for more!

Received a pathetic excuse for a crank handle here from a seller here that bent like a pretzel before the jacks even hit the ground. I returned it and on a hunch, reordered from this same listing directly from Amazon. What I received was a total different story. This thing is a beast with 1/2" steel and metal handles that both rotate freely, love it. It appears one of the sellers which Amazon will not allow me to name is shipping some knock off or an economy version with just over 1/4" steel that bends like a piece of 1/4 rebar. Whatever it was it was a toy. This easily lifts my trailer off the ground with no signs of strain and has finally put an end to my woes of constantly having the swivel screw snap on the wrench that came with my Bal jacks. Time will tell if it lasts long term, but this is so heavy I can't imagine it having any issues.

Very pleased with my purchase! I was trying to find a heavy-duty version to replace what came with the camper, and it was hard to tell from the reviews and product descriptions I found online. This was a great choice however, and is definitely better than the one I have. It's heavier overall, seems to be manufactured better, and the hex head socket is part of the wrench...similar to the wrenches you typically find in car trunks...not welded on as an after thought like my original. The spinning handles that you grip are also better than the rubber/plastic sleeves on my old one. The one on the end kept coming off, but that won't happen with this replacement. To be clear, they are steel, and will spin on the wrench as you turn it, but won't fall off as far as I can tell. Note I haven't actually used this yet, but I've owned more than one camper with more than one wrench. I fully expect this to meet my expectations, and you can beat the price or quick shipping.

This device works very well! I have read many RV posts where people carry cordless drills in order to lower the stabilizer feet on their campers. Perhaps the larger RVs need more physical effort but I find this to be a quick and easy job that doesn't require battery power (electrical charging) or heavy tools that I don't normally take camping. I use in on an A-frame pop-up camper. Takes a few seconds on each side and the job is done.

We just bought a new travel trailer this year. After just four outings, the stock crank handle that came with it had already started falling apart. It was also beginning to strip the hex heads on all of the scissor jacks. My fellow campers were trying to push me into buying a cordless drill and adapter to do this the "easy way". But I just couldn't spend all that money for something that only takes me 5 minutes each weekend. So I picked this up instead. We got it in time to use it last weekend. After just one use, I am 100% certain my camping buddies are idiots for not giving this thing a try. It is infinitely better than the stock handle we got with our camper! Raising and lowering the scissor jacks is effortless now. The only concern I have, is that this handle could let me easily put too much pressure on the jacks. It requires much less effort than what I was used to before.Definitely recommended.

I got this as a replacement when a previous crank "walked."This is simple and straightforward. The only reason that I've given it 4 stars is that the socket end is smoothly tapered. This makes it easy to keep clean, but it isn't useful for catching the edge of the wood block I place under the jacks ... as I used to do with my old crank.I miss it!
