This shelf is really cool and modern looking, it was easy to mount to the wall. It is durable and able to hold a lot of your favorite drinks or whatever else you want to put on it. This is also great for gift giving in my opinion.

Looks great from across the room. I was surprised by two things when I took this out of the box. 1) The build quality is not great, not bad, but not great. 2) The size. For some reason I thought it would be smaller, probably because I am used to things being smaller than they look in the product pictures. I'm glad this was not the case here. It is a great size and will hold most people's bourbon collection, or at least the good stuff you want to display! I always use my own hardware because I like to use 50lbs anchors, so I can't speak to the quality of what came with it, but it didn't look that good. All in all, I would say it is a good value for the money, considering the $150+ price point of similar (albeit better built) products.

There’s something undeniably cool about repurposed barrel wood, and this shelf leans into that aesthetic hard. The charred oak finish gives it that aged, whiskey-barrel vibe, making it a great addition to a rustic or industrial-themed space. It’s sturdy, well-made, and definitely a conversation piece. The only issue? It’s not the biggest shelf, so don’t expect it to hold your entire bourbon collection—just a select few favorites.

I'll admit - I took a few months to hang this up. With the holidays recently and multiple other projects around my home, this took a back seat for too long. This afternoon I finally had some time and bandwidth to get this thing hung. Fearing the worst, I grabbed my stud finder, a drill bit set, a screwdriver, a level, and some more solid wall anchors. The included pack of wall anchors is decent, but with this shelf holding ~40lbs of pricey bourbon, I figured I'd take some additional precautions to make sure the shelf stays hung.It turns out that those precautions were largely unnecessary. The shelf itself is sturdy but light. It comes with three heavy-duty brackets that line up with predrilled holes on the bottom of the shelf. Since I brought my own heavier-duty wall anchors to the party, I figured I'd use those to mount the brackets. I needed just three holes in the wall to hang the brackets (instead of the nine holes that the brackets support) since I was using 100lb wall anchors. I leveled my anchors, screwed in the brackets, and screwed the shelf to the brackets. In all, it took me 10 minutes or so to get done. Once done, I loaded the shelf up with a bunch of nice bourbon and called it a day.All in all, I feel a little sheepish that I took several months to hang this shelf. It hung quickly and is surprisingly sturdy. It looks great when loaded with bourbon. I recommend this for any whiskey lover!

Literally just got finished installing this and it took about 2.5 hours. This should have only needed to take about 30 mins. Everything started out well. We got out the laser level and got center and height marked and got the holes drilled for the dry wall anchors. We started screwing the screws in and they would not bite (This was starting out using the yellow dry wall Anchors) and with little pressure would pull out from the yellow anchors. The screws did not look large enough for the anchors so we got out our box of back up screws and was trying to find ones that were slightly larger than the screws that came with the shelf. But those would not hold either. Needless to say the plastic yellow anchors were not doing their job and are very cheap. Next we tried one of the white plastic anchors. That just went through the wall when trying to put the screws in. We ended up having to go to the hardware store for better anchors and screws. Once we got back I was worried we would have to either go higher or lower because of the damage that the anchors caused on the dry wall. Thank goodness the Anchors we got were slightly larger and the outer brackets are very secure. The inner bracket only has one contact point. The white anchor caused the drywall to break between 2 of the screw holes. These new screw and anchors are rated for 46 lbs each. So my BF and I are confident a long as the bracket that came with it isn't cheap this will hold up. One of the other issues is the screw holes on the shelf are not lined up for the brackets if you want to have the floating shelf look. they have a small predrilled hold that is not liked up but we countered this by the button top screws. These pushed out the shelf just enough to bite good enough into the shelf. Lastly I wanted this to display some of the nicer scotches, whiskeys and bourbons we had finished and because the wall of the shelf is 3.5 inches above the shelf you lose the label on the bottom of the bottle. What I do like about it. I like the feel this shelf adds to our bar. It's earthy and worn and rustic. it feels sturdy. The curve to it gives it a unique feel. It does add some character to the bar. Here is my Pro/Con list...ProsShelf is sturdyShelf has unique curve to itHas a rustic and earthy fell to itNeutralHoles on bottom of shelf are misalignedConsHardware cheap, had to go out and buy better hardwareShelf hides 3.5 inches of what every you display on it, so not great for shorter bottles
