Jacket fits to size; I wear a 3X and it fit perfectly. Love the colour. The material is a little stiff, but I suspect the more I wear it, the softer it will get.

Really nice jacket. Made well and color is spot on. Returning as material is too stiff for me. It may soften with wear and wash but I don’t want to chance it.

Concerned about the possibility of shrinkage with 100% cotton, per some reviews, I bought up a size. Tried it on right out of package and liked the roomier fit, though the sleeves seemed a little long. The care instructions say cold water and no dryer, so I put it through a short wash on cold and then hung on a plastic hanger to dry overnight. It dried nicely with minimal shrinkage and no need for ironing. Now the fit and sleeve length seem perfect. Weight of the fabric is like cotton duck or a lightweight denim. The construction seems very nice with overcast serged seams to minimize fraying. I was very comfortable today, wearing this over a 3/4 sleeve tee, in breezy, 60 degree weather. I even got compliments on the style and army green color. Very pleased overall!

This jacket arrived just in time! It was just starting to get cool ( or so I thought) but it came in handy the few days it was cool. (Louisiana weather, ya know. Can’t wait for the actual winter. I love the way it feels. The size is perfect. I love the color and thickness of it.

This item is either missized or it runs way too small to be a normal 2X. I can't even get both arms in the jacket. Quality is fine and it is an attractive garment but no point in keeping it. Returned.

Based on reviews, I ordered a size up - 3x. I am 5’4” and around 200lb. The jacket I received was new, seams are well done, although I had to trim quite a few stray threads. I like the general fit and the pockets. Fit is ok with a light top. If I were to wear it with a bulky shirt or sweater, I may want to put in an underarm gusset (I don’t know why designers only create clothes that look and fit well until one raises their arms, or tries to). I removed the drawstring, as it is placed rather high, and isn’t something I wanted to fuss with anyway. Back length is 29”, sleeves 24”.It is 100% cotton, and not preshrunk, so plan accordingly. As a test, I washed and dried the drawstring separately. Unwashed, 92”. Washed in lukewarm water, 83”. Dried on high, 79”. In my experience, cotton shrinks most in length. In this case, washing may shrink it by approx 10%, putting it in the drier may shrink by approx 15% from the original. I won’t mind the sleeves being a bit shorter, but all in all, it’s not a bad basic light jacket.

2022 edit: the first jacket I got was starting to wear, so I bought a second one. the first one was the weight of a heavy shirt and great as a windbreaker at around 55- 65F.The new one is a heavier canvas - almost like a Carhart jacket but unlined of course. Still a great fit and comfortable to wear as a windbreaker/ light rain repeller down to around 45F over a hoodie.Now I have two great easy-to-wear jackets.original review:Good fit (I'm 2X), pockets at rights height to put hands in, light weight but sturdy. nice drape, flattering. I got the dark olive one but may go back for the red one as well.Edit: got the red one, too. this is the light weight "grab and go" jacket that I've wanted for a long time. Goes with everything, fits over everything. easy to wear. Strong, crease- and stain- resistant material.Edit: The red one was poorly made and couldn't be worn without ironing (not happening here). Love the dark olive. Donated the red one. TV

The photos are deceiving. The drawstring for the waist sits nowhere near my waist. In fact, it is closer to my armpits than it is to my waist. It sits at my bra band. It looks absolutely ridiculous. Also, I am not a very tall person (5’6) so it’s not that I’ve got an unusually long torso. Lol

I’m so disappointed with this jacket. The fit as pictured would have been perfect. It zips up, there is a bit of extra room so it fits that way, sleeves are fine but the length is ridiculous. This is shown to be about finger length with your hands at your side. The jacket I bought comes above my wrist bone. The waist tie is right under my breasts. I’m 5’3” and this fits shorter than petite sized clothes. I suppose if you are under 5 feet tall it might be ok but then the sleeves will be too long.... Anyways, I’m returning it.This description thing won’t let me change it, I am 5’3” not 5’4”

I really like it, the fabric is nice and not to hot perfect for summer nights and fall, the fit is a little over size, but I don’t mind.
