I keep this in the bed of my pickup to reach things that inevitably slide to the front of the bed. I have a cover over the back and rather than rolling it up to reach my items, I just hook them with this gadget and pull them to the back. I thought about just bending a piece of conduit and using that for a hook, but I'm glad I purchased this instead. More finished and it nice that the handle telescopes.

This pole makes getting items out of my truck bed easy. No more have to climb in and out to retrieve something. Made well and light weight.

I originally was not sure about buying this, $$$. But it only took two times getting something in the back of truck bed to decide it was exactly a short person like me needs. I keep two medium size totes with miscellaneous items in them. Drop the tailgate grab the EZ-Retriever and pull the tote to the back. After I'm done push the tote back up front. Sturdy.For this Christmas I bought one for my Son. First thing he said was "Now I don't have to crawl in the bed to get my hard hat, he likes it too.

This unit works well with the metal side storage units you can install in your pickup. I was a little disappointed in the price having bought this before (i sold it in the last truck). But it is a very good quality unit and I like the adjustable length feature. KL.

This thing is awesome,This being the second because I thought I lost the first one, I had only to order a new one and then find the original, go figure. If you own a Pick-Up and you use the bed this is a must have handy dandy tool.A tad expensive but sometimes it's worth springing for a tool that does the job that is much better than crawling around the pick-up bed.

Have found the EZ-Retriever to be very useful as I have a roll type Tonneau cover on the pickup box and this tool allows me to snag things without rolling up the tarp. It is quite sturdy and should last without breaking. I find that items in the pickup box tend to work forward so when you want something it is alway in the front of the box. I would recommend this item.
