If you are using this product to send emails or type up technical documents- this is a good product. But if you are a programmer, heavy hot-key user or gamer - this is Not the product for you. I am a programmer (SQL & C++), I depend on hot keys and I am a gamer. Though it appears to be a good product it did not deliver what I had hoped. If you type more that 10 words per minute, you will be making tons of corrections. If conditions are not perfect, you’ll be making tons of corrections. If the product is not at the exact height, you’ll be making tons of corrections. In addition, there is no volume control on the beep sound (the acknowledgement a key press has been registered) thus making it very distracting on conference calls - for everyone listening. I am not returning it but I am not happy with it either.

So, I really like this pocket keyboard concept and I can see this using whenever I am travelling becuase I like a keyboard to type rather than typing it directly on my phone or ipad but this needs some improvement before anything. The speed is the major factor that can define the future of this product. When you type there is a slight felay so you have to wait before you could type next letter. This makes it slow and unusable. Also, sometimes some of the keys do not work no matter how many times you press it. I love the concept though I WISH THEY COULD IMPROVE THIS AND MAKE IT USABLE.

I was super excited Bout this product as it was a gift and I didn't even know these devices existed! But this one just has poor laser reception/recognition. It is inconsistent with how it reads finger presses, it doesn't show well on various surfaces.. it just seems like a poor copy of a better quality. I wish I would have reached out sooner so I could atleast get assistance in case this was just a bad device. The instructions for use have all these extra "presses" to do other things (like mouse control, etc) but I can't even get the keyboard to work with accuracy so this unfortunately turned out to be a waste.

I was skeptical so I went with this less pricey one, just in case. But I was pleasantly suprised at how well it worked! Its pretty cool. My 26 yr old son, who us very "tech" minded, dug it. He had it up and running immediately after opening it. I would buy this again as a gift for sure!

I am currently writing this review with the laser keyboard. I am on my Samsung Note 8 using the Dex Station right now. i love this thing but it does come with a few quarks.1. You will type slower, but you can actually get a pretty good pace going with this keyboard. You cant type the normal way, I use just my index fingers, this method yields a 95% accuracy when I am typing.2. This thing does chirp with every keypress by default, but you can turn it down or silence it. I keep it on low so I have some feedback when I'm typing.3. Going to mouse node is strange, your only indication that your in mouse mode is the keyboard dims a little. I wish 9t would turn into a mouse pad but there is no moving parts. This is super useful for me as it takes up no space so it's easy to pack with my phone and dex station. you need a flat surface about 8" x 11" or a sheet of printer paper basically. This isn't going to be replacing a keyboard and mouse but makes an awesome compact backup. Plus its just damn cool!

Welcome to a new innovation in smartphone accessories. Is this the new way to travel with a keyboard? probably not yet. Yes, this product does what it says it does but it isn't efficient enough to replace your keyboard or travel laptop. Here's why:- it needs a certain surface area to perform, therefore it does not work on most airplane tray tables (I've tried)- slight movement messes up the calibration- the response time is slow when pressing buttons- you need a pretty dim room to be able to clearly see your keyboardthis being said, pairing and charging are both easy and it looks super cool. so if you want to just show a fancy gadget off to friends at school and the school is very dark, go for it.

Awesome, especially for about $50. Hard at the beginning, but you get used to it. The mouse tool is actually really handy to just get in the habit of putting it in so that when you're doing something else for the moment and don't end up accidentally typing. Occasionally wouldn't get a letter or two, but very good. The noise after every type got annoying, but you can turn them off.

Bought this for my brother for his birthday as he's a big tech guy and he loved it. He said it responds surprisingly well. I've been looking at these laser keyboards for awhile but they were always pricey and reviews complained of their lack of accuracy. Thankfully, it seems they've improved the product and it is definitely worth the price. It's obviously not a practical substitute for a laptop but it is still very cool.
