I used this set to convert my 120V pull down cord to a 240 Volt. This is the plug type on most of my 240Volt shop equipment. I was looking for a 12 AWG 240Volt ceiling mount recoil cord for my new shop. I could not find any that were 12 AWG, so, I cut off the ends and replaced them with tis plug set. The wire attachment hardware is easy to use and secure. Thank You Aida
