The build quality is phenomenal, works flawless and has a comfortable axis. Plus mounted directly to my rig.You just have to remember to pull it when you first load up the game to allow it to do its calibration.Only downside is the clamp only will tighten to a thicker surface like a desk not a thin profile rig

Bought this to put on my sim rig so I could have a physical handbrake to pull for drifting. I think it works fine, there's probably better models out there but for the price it did what I needed it to.

Great quality handbrake but the mount and screws don’t align so good look mounting this. So pretty much made the product useless to use if I can’t mount it.

I purchased this handbrake for CarX Drift Racing Online, and it really changed up my gameplay, pulling a giant lever is super satisfying and helps with control quite a bit, especially since I was trying to press a button on the wheel mid-turn. The whole thing is built out of anodized aluminum and nicely lubricated with something thick. Very little setup required, a few nuts and bolts to mount the handbrake to the desk mount, and then the handle to the base. It comes with two sleeves that go over the handle, each a different texture, I prefer the more rubbery dense foam to the breathable matte stuff, though swapping them was a little tricky, if you're having trouble try pushing up from the bottom of the grip, not trying to pull it upward.I was concerned about the desk mount being too thin or cheap, but it's super nice. Nice, thick aluminum with some rubberized pads to protect your desk surface, and the same threaded bolts that my monitor arm uses to mount to my desk. I will say that it needs to be pretty damn tight to not shift around mid-race, so I'll probably add something to widen the face of the bolt a little; it's not a huge issue because I don't feel concerned about the handbrake sliding off my desk, it's just a little disorienting at times and it's such an easy fix I may as well. If you have a different desk that isn't hollow-core and made out of particle board, you can probably just crank this thing super tight and it won't be an issue.Durable, works with my games, helped me improve a little, and does exactly what's advertised! What's not to like?

I bought the same handbrake without the electronics a couple years ago to make one, and it was loose and poorly machined, this one have no rattles from nothing, came with grease on every moving parts so it makes no noises. It was almost plug and play, only a wizard for a quick setup and mapping it worked great on assetto (content manager), forza horizon 5, beam and CarX.The only downside is that it feels "empty" the restriction is not there even with the stronger spring that came with it installed, it stops when it reach is mechanical limit. I will try to make a rubber stopper for it to increase the feel.

The handbrake works as expected and is less expensive than many brand name alternatives but it's not perfect. One of the screws on the plastic came stripped. Not a big deal since it seems to stay in place fine. There are two design issues I found.First, the handbrake itself doesn't engage for the first third of the travel. The reason is that the handbrake uses a magnet to sense the position and the magnet doesn't reach the sensor until you have pulled it about a third of the way back. The handbrake can be adjusted so that the initial slack is taken out but what's the point of having that much travel if it doesn't do anything, especially since you can make adjustments for dead zone in games. The second issue is that the stop for the handbrake is that small screw on the end that impacts the thin plastic plate. When I drive Dirt Rally 2.0, the handbrake subs as a clutch and you just let go causing a hard impact. While I haven't had any issues yet, I expect that eventually the plastic plate on the end will break. The clamp could also be a bit better. The foam on the underside came lose a bit and caused some rubbing or pulled the finish off my desk. It's also just a metal disk on the bottom so it is likely leaving some marks though I haven't checked since it's on the bottom and I don't care.I was able to solve the issue with the foam pads by just putting wrapping a post-it note around the edge of my desk but it would be nice if the clamp used a more durable pad.Aside from that, it's a handbrake and works as expected and it's impressive that they can pack that much metal and plastic in plus the electronics for just the price. (I think I paid around $120)Even with the small issues, I would still recommend it over a $300 handbrake unless you just have money to blow. Just make sure you protect your desk and maybe add a rubber washer behind the adjustment screw to absorb some of the impact.
