Not perfect. But lasted 4 years and 30k miles. So, I bought another. Great Price!

While Amazon kept confirming the DISA valve would fit my 2004 X3 3.0 liter-- the Dorman was the only one to actually have the correct OEM connector plug. I kept ordering DISA valves from Amazon -- going up in price each time. The first 6 I orders ranged from $45 to $70 -- Dorman was double that at $145 -- but it actually fit like the original OEM connector plug. The other DISA valves Amazon had -- have a different electrical connector where the 2 inner prongs are smaller and closer spaced-- which won't let the OEM plug connect. There was another DISA valve that had the correct electrical connector plug-- but it's valve was sized for the 2.5 liter engine -- not the 3.0 liter. The 2004-2006 X3 M54 engines were still made in the Germany plant-- perhaps the other DISA valves Amazon offers fit M54 engines from the Spartanburg SC plant.

Perfect fit on my BMW M54 - seems like OEM quality - only time will tell and I will followup if this part fails

About a year ago, the dealership warned me that this part may fail. Well.. my car started sputtering when at a light and was losing gas mileage. So.. why not try this and fix it. Dealership wanted to charge me $1000. Don’t do it!!! $65 here on Amazon, T40 socket, 2 bolts and 15 mins of my time.As you can see, my old one snapped. Put in this new one, cleared the codes with my reader (bought on Amazon also) and my car is back to purring like normal. Looking forward to see how much better gas mileage and power I get. Fingers crossed this holds up. Thanks again.

Seems to be quality, still works after a few months so I would say worth the money!

Decent reproduction part for the price. Seems to work well but have not checked to see if it’s condition has held up over the course of a couple months
