Very easy to install but don't expect anything to change as far as mileage or performance since modern vehicles are always self adjusting its air and fuel. If I had a carbureted car then yes it would be a great buy but not for today's vehicles

Way better then the cheap $30 ones I’ve heard that some have a verry anoying whistle this one doesn’t installed on my 2010 tundra everything went smoothly came with extended bolts and gaskets I did notice a 2MPG increase I did also notice better throttle response and more low end power I pared this with a rough country cold air intake and tires cherp at 15mph and spin below 15mph this is definitely a badass product worth the money

Easy install. However the gasket is made out of cheap material. It tore. Doesn’t matter though. Doesn’t need it. Pairs this with my S&b intake and man it sounds great. Nice whistle on take off. Came with longer bolts shipping was quick. Had to move coolant hose 1/2 inch. No big deal. Love it

Love it. Install was super easy. Paired it with an Airaid cold air intake and my 2012 Tundra sounds mean! Like super mean! Also much increased power and quickness. Couldn't really care less if it helps with gas mileage.

Love this addition to my 2012 5.7L Tundra. I have the Airaid 511-213 CAI as well. My truck now has a mean throaty growl and awesome mid range pull. I would suggest this combo to any Tundra owner.

The addition of the spacer definitely made a difference in acceleration, and it sounds cool. I have yet to see a improvement in gas mileage however the truck only has 2000 miles on it.

I DID NOT EXPERIENCE HAVING TO CUT THE ENGINE COVER!If you are looking for a miracle then look elsewhere. Prior to installation I have always had (since day one) a drop-in replacement K&N filter which has always done me well. With that filter I have always noticed a slight "whistle" at certain RPM's. Again that is all PRIOR to installing this Airaid. After installing the Airaid I let my engine warm-up then went around for a drive. For every single man out there including myself, your first instinct is to mash the damn pedal. Do it, and you will be disappointed. As the item claims, it provides increases in LOW-END torque. I DO feel it--and that is no BS. But it is not the holy grail of power upgrades you are dreaming of while waiting to get yours in the mail. The power difference is like when that one time you deviate from your regular unleaded and shell out the bucks for Super Unleaded. Noticed that difference? How the truck drives a little different--just like that. Honestly, what can you expect from an $80 bolt-on product? With my stock air box and K&N filter the whistle I heard before the Airaid is no longer there. Instead I hear more of a sucking/vacuum sound (no not noisy like a vacuum cleaner). For me there is no annoying whistle except there is a slight sound at higher RPM's when under heavy throttle--but once again no annoying sounds at all. If you are worried about any noises, then stay stock! Besides, chances are that if you are putting this on looking for power upgrades then you wont mind a little sound. Right? Let's get real, we associate power with rumbling pipes and whirring turbochargers--so what's the big deal with a little whistle? If noise bothers you, then you are out of your league. So here is the breakdown:I don't believe this is a miracle product (nothing is).I don't think you will be disappointed considering the price.I do find the throttle response to be smoother.I do find acceleration to be less laborious and acceleration at low speeds more fluid.I do believe this spacers' potential can be unlocked with a FIPK (my next upgrade).I do believe that this item is a great value for the difference it has exhibited thus far.I do recommend it, even at $90.Quit trying to decide based on reviews and get the darn thing so you can make your own conclusion. At this price, it is a worthy upgrade.P.s. I can not comment on gas savings or mileage. I just installed it 30 minutes ago. Common sense though, if you are going to mash the pedal consistently testing it out, trying to "feel it out" then guess which way your gas mileage will go??
