Es para lo que es y lo hace bien. Si quieres medir bebidas a las que ya has añadido azucar, este no es el producto que buscas, pero para medir graduacion alcoholica de bebidas sin adicion de azucar, como pueden ser macerados de especias, si que hace lo que dice y una vez calibrado mide perfectamente.

Only flaw is having to adjust the eye part. Not bad, actually a positive. Just my copy I have to back mine way out and then it doesn't fit in the case. Only mono style meter like this style I have to adjust so far.

The Alcohol Refractometer is easy to use. Just put a few drops on the slide and hold it up to the light. If there isn't enough light to read the scale, a light is provided. You just need a usb port to plug it into.

I highly recommend this product received with accurate zero calibration. Tested on 80 proof and it was 100% accurate. This is the best one on the market.

J'avais des alcools de fruits sans indication de titres, issus de bouilleurs de cru, après étalonnage, résultats correct et concordants. À voir la stabilité de la fenêtre d'échantillons dans le temps.

The old fashioned floating density measures before fermentation, then compares to what you end up with, which is at 100%. Zero results when measuring something already finished.This unit uses a few drops, and instantly you can see the results. Easy to use... easy to see. Love it.

Zunächst habe ich die Genauigkeit mit bekannten Alkohol-Konzentrationen überprüft und war überrascht, wie genau dieses doch sehr einfache Meßgerät funktioniert. Die Handhabung ist super einfach, das Ergebnis kann sehr deutlich abgelesen werden.Alles bestens.

L'ho acquistato perche' si presentava bene e le recensioni sembravano buone. Nell'utilizzo qualcosa nn mi convinceva perche misurando il grado alcolico di due distillati con grado alcolico noto uno 40° e l'altro 50° controllati anche con alcolimetro in vetro quello ad immersione che mi ha restituito i suddetti gradi alcolici, con il rifrattometro nonostante abbia eseguito perfettamente la calibratura e temperatuta ambiente 20/21 gradi misurava 45 e 55 gradi alcolici. Dopo una serie di messaggi con un gentilissimo sig. Tony che riferiva alla fabbrica, cosi mi diceva, dopo infinite richieste e chiarimenti hanno stabilito che devo togliere 5° ALLE MISURAZIONI !!????!!..... con un certo sconforto credo da parte del sig. Tony che me lo ha riferito. Beh... giudicate voi io continuo con il mio vecchio alcolimetro ad immersione, faro' sicuramente il reso.

I wish they had pictured the really nice portable case it comes with as well! I was actually surprised by everything that came with the kit and everything seems to be of very nice quality including the stainless jeweler's screwdriver for calibrating the refractometer.The refractometer has good weight and feels like a very solid product. I tested some washer fluid first, just to see if it worked, it did!. After dialing in the binocular style lens focus, I was very clearly able to see a reading. I used distilled water next to 0 out the indicator for calibration and it was dead accurate right out of the box.I would reccomend this for testing alcohol percentages in water and distilled spirits.

This is the real deal. Solid, well made and accurate.I went for the Amazon Choice one first, another manufacturer/supplier and it was terrible. A comparable price yet it was a very cheap imitation, flimsy, inaccurate and badly constructed so I was delighted to find this one.I'm curious as to how Amazon feature rubbish as Amazon Choice items - I felt mislead.

Please read this product description carefully and ignore the user comments. The description correctly states that the product is for measuring the alcohol content of DISTILLED liquors. You CANNOT get an accurate reading with this or any other refractometer for beer, wine, or hard cider without first distilling them and then using this device. I was trying to use this to measure my homemade wines and they all read way too high. It is calibrated and works perfectly for distilled water and every commercial distilled liquor I tried on it. I came back here to return it and realized that the fault is mine for not paying close enough attention before buying.I'm giving this 4 stars despite its flawless performance on what it's meant to measure, because the seller does get just a little sloppy saying that it is the "tool that professional and nonprofessional winemakers simply can't be without." I don't know any nonprofessional winemakers that distill their wine prior to testing it for alcohol content.
