I got the 4 pounds it comes with little mesh bags for the ceramic balls. They seem to be good quality. I do wish the balls were bigger but it is good value. Easy to use just have to wash them.

They're ceramic balls. I ordered 2 lbs and I got 2 lbs, also came with both mesh bags as expected. If you need ceramic balls, these are ceramic balls. Conveniently, both pounds of balls fit easily into one bag, so now I have a spare. How handy!

I was looking for a replacement for the bio balls that came with my sponge filter but they didn't sell them separately. I went with these bio balls even though they quite bigger than the ones that came with the filter but they still fit in the filter just fine. Since putting them in, the water has been crystal clear in my betta's tank. You get a lot of bio balls in the package so they should last a very long time.

They are, as advertised, round. And they're ceramic. They work. Not sure what else to say here. How yall doin? Have a nice week? Hope so. Anyway, if you're looking for filter media...yeah, these are that. Not much else to talk about...they're ceramic beads. Can't really break, or disappoint otherwise.

The stuff does work but it's so small it gets caught in the clips to close the canister. So I will not be buying it again.

This is a good deal. I rinsed the balls before use to get the loose sand/dust off. They have no smell to them so I am pretty confident that they will be safe for my fish.

Those are actually smaller than it seems like on pictures. But I don't mind cz smaller ball means more surface area for beneficial bacteria to be grown!

Very nice bio media and really nice bags for the media. Because it's small media it's easy to pack a lot into your filtersUsing nearly 3.5lbs in each of my aquaclear 110s and 4lbs per tray on my fx4Seems high quality and hasn't shown any signs of breaking down after half a year

Added to my FX4/FX6 filters inside bio bags. You can fit a great deal of them in there and the round balls is so much better than the stuff they came with.

it’s little porous balls, great for beneficial bacteria to grow on also it was good for the price when it was only $15CAD now some places are charging almost $50 for the same thing
