Very nice design but dislike the thread. It separates and leaves uneven threads all over the piece. It's difficult to work with. I ordered 2 of these plus 2 other designs. I finished one and decided I couldn't do the others so ordered wool tapestry yarn in the same colors to do the rest at an additional cost. The cotton yarn came in a big wad and you had to separate it color by color. In all, this is way overpriced to have such cheap thread. Would never buy again.

Poor packaging and thread selection. No backing materials. Very poor compared to other packaged stocking I have purchased and completed. Beautiful pattern but the materials are so very disappointing. Will not buy from here again.

Separating the threads was a pain in the rear and as other reviews mentioned, the threads are VERY long (probably close to 6 feet) but after the initial hassle of separating threads and cutting them to an appropriate length for use, the project went very smoothly. I was able to finish in about a month and the stocking looks gorgeous.Also of note, this was my first needlepoint project. I’m normally a cross stitcher which may be why I didn’t have a problem with the floss as opposed to wool. The crossover to needlepoint was pretty easy. I did watch a couple of short videos on YouTube to learn the different types of stitches and when to use them, which was helpful.I’ve already purchased a second kit and looking forward to making another stocking.

Nice canvas, pretty design. The floss included is crap. It’s too thin for the canvas, unravels, and a pain to separate all the colors. Good price for the canvas. Go buy your own good quality embroidery floss.
