I wish the kit had wool crewel yarn instead of cotton thread the project would have a heavier wool look when finished. I will go to a needlepoint shop and purchase the crewel yarn. Otherwise the design is very cute.

I gave this a 3 out of 5 because I had to replace all the thread with new DMC embroidery threads. The original thread would shred as I was working with it. Although the company came across as sympathetic, I never had this issue resolved. I eventually gave up and purchased new embroidery floss. This added an additional $35 to the cost of this kit. I am almost finished working this stocking and it is really cute. I wish the Alice Peterson Company had better customer service.
