Didn't last two practices. Laces snapped in the pockets after two bullpen sessions.

This was almost the perfect catcher's mitt. ALMOST. I was so happy I found a catcher's mitt available in left-hand throw orientation considering how rare they are. When it arrived, I had so much fun with it. First week consisted of break-in and tough catching practices. Later on, the mitt was pretty easy to use. I could sit in front of a pitching machine for an entire hour catching auto pitches just to hear the sweet sound of glove pop. It seemed durable... for a month, that is. In the last two days, things began to unravel... LITERALLY. First, I noticed the stitching on one of the web's panels started to fray. And then, after noticing the web was slightly uneven, I found that the lacing in the web was fraying and partially torn. It's at that point where one more catching session will probably break the lace completely. This is really sad as I hoped the mitt would be more durable and I was looking forward to using it for at least 6-12 months with no issues.

Didn't make it through 2 bullpen sessions. Bought for a high school freshman. Just trying to get it ready for the season and the laces have already busted and the web is ripping.

Bought for high school senior, pocket leather ripped within 2 weeks, sent back and was replaced, 2nd one also had pocket leather rip within a week. Had to pay a glove guy to replace the pocket leather

This glove is very durable and easy to break in. It feels great on your hand. It has just the right amount of padding. Not to much and not to little to catch those fast balls. It is worth the money and kids love it.
