I've bought a couple dozen of these "orange dot" necks from various vendors over the last 5 years. They are my preferred starting point for a custom build with a 24-fret maple neck. Quality is always exemplary, with decent fretwork. Fretboards are always at least decent looking, and sometime rather spectacular. The dot inlays are sometimes described as "orange", but are actually copper colored and tend to look good on just about any build.

It is a nice crafted neck. Due to workmanship, dont expect it will play well without some work and not just truss rod adjustment but you must be able to level frets or you with either have unusually high action or dead spots. Also it is a very thick neck. you must like wrapping your hand around a heavy beast of a neck. i put it on a small light body and it seems mismatched. i got it on sale and after some work, it plays nice but it is a beast of a neck and not sure of i like that

Fit the Oscar Schmidt Semi hollow, which was hard to find a replacement neck for, seems nice and solid, frets are good

Ordered this neck a couple months ago for a project. If I had inspected it more closely when it first arrived, I would have returned it. The frets are horrible. Some have sprung are raised so much, you can push them down with just your finger. Fretboard has chips and embossed marks from the fret press. The finish on the back of the neck is speckled with dings that you can see and feel. The heel was cut correctly though, and the measurements are accurate. My fault for waiting too long to return it. Maybe I got a dud?.. I’ll never know. I would avoid unless you’re willing to put in the work to make it useable.
