I love everything about these sneakers (I originally searched for better shoes due to hip, knee, and lower back pain, and these have been the best for support and comfort). After trying multiple brands, these stand out as the best fit with a mid-cushion sole that perfectly suits my foot shape. Unlike other sneakers where my pinky toe eventually creates a hole, these are designed to prevent that. I used to buy wide versions of other brands but always felt limited in options—these eliminate that need. Durable for both hikes and runs, they’ve lasted longer than any others I’ve worn.

These shoes were a perfect fit to me right out of the box. I love the feel of walking on air and the support they give! I cannot wait to get out on the trail with them. I was able to save money through the sale.I am already considering my next pair to ware as everyday and work.

I used the amazon try before buy. These are really nice and lightweight. Comfortable, fir great. Was looking for a show for work, i do maintenance, but walk a lot. I was worried they would hold up for wear and tear. For somple walking, these would be perfect. Just worried about longevity, while doing maintenance. As an extra, or normal shoe, not for work, perfect

Great walking shoe, wide toe box, I have a bunion and these don't put any pressure on it. Very comfortable.

I just started hiking and running and a friend told me about this brand I've never heard of but apparently it's pretty well known in the hiking and running community.Being the noob in this new hiking/ running world, I decided to look up the various models (which was alot) from this company and decided to give this model a shot. When I received the shoes, I noticed how thin the materials were throughout the shoes. From the very thin uppers to the spongy, but comfortable mid and outsole, I didn't believe these shoes would last very long in terms of durability. The natural form design of a human's foot of the was great, it beats the painful, cram your toes in a narrow forefoot design of Nikes, Adidas, UnderArmour and other well known manufacturers. I don't have wide feet but for those that do, brands like Altra or Topo Designs are much better for you in terms or hiking, running or walking.Overall I decided due to my preference for durability, as much as I like the color and design of the shoes. The materials that make up the shoes didn't seem like it would last very long and that was why I had to return them and seek Altra's other designs like the Lone Peaks model.I think for walking, this shoe can be a reliable shoe but for my needs, I decided on a shoe that had thicker, stronger materials to handle the terrains that I'm embarking.Happy trails everyone.

Wide toe box. Zero drop. The podiatrists are right. If you have problematic feet, those are the two pieces of criteria you need to use to find shoes that help your feet instead of hurt them. What makes these even better they have both of those features plus they’re good looking. They don’t look like old people shoes. I’ve tried Hokas, the toe box is too narrow. And I’ve tried any other brand that offers a wide toe box and zero drop. Altras fit better, look on trend, and give me longer pain-free walking than any other shoe I’ve found.

I traveled in central Europe in the spring, where you can get some serious downpours and also dry and hot days. I walked 9-14 miles a day for 5 weeks and along with good socks, had happy and comfortable feet. The tread is great for traction on wet and slippery cobblestones/stone stairs and the cushioning was superior. These shoes do not squish my toes and the back of the ankle is high enough to not blister. I wore 1/4 socks with these, the tongue while thin and flexible is high too and with no-show socks you will feel it. I also bought the elastic shoe laces in navy to match the body of the shoe for less contrast and I liked the look and ease of putting my shoe on and pulling it off. They also dried quickly after rainstorms.(update) I finally tossed these shoes after 2,000,000 steps or 1,000 miles. I was a tourist in Portugal recently and walked lots of hills, cobblestones, and slippery tile. The tread was quite worn down although not flat yet. They weren't slippery but they also weren't as supportive.

So I have been wearing only ALTRA for almost 10 years now. I’ve owned almost every type, including their dress shoe, which I miss very much and wish they still made it. Anyway, this is about the TIMP. This shoe is outstanding and to me. It is much more comfortable than the Olympus and the lone Peak. I know it’s supposed to be the shoe in between, but I believe this is the superior shoe in my opinion. I wasn’t sure about the tongue when I first got it because it’s an odd shape and I figured that the low socks that I wear it would bother it, but it doesn’t rub my ankle or leg at all. It feels like there is extra cushioning in the shoe which is nice for comfort in long walks. To be perfectly honest after my last pair of shoes that I bought from ALTRA I was almost done with them. The Torins I bought fellas parts so fast. That I was sure they were my last pair. But I needed another pair and I decided I love this brand so much that I was going to give them another shot. And besides, I have yet to find another shoe that fits me as good as the. ALTRA do. I cannot heap enough. Praise on how much I like this shoe and the size fit just as expected. These are the main thing I wear now walking or just going out in public. I have a pair of Escalante’s that I really like as well and I believe they are starting to get a little bit jealous because they don’t get worn as much. I am not a podiatrist I am just a blind guy who likes to walk with my elderly mother and do a 5K every day at least. I want to tell you I wore art supports most of my life because of my super flat feet and since I have been wearing. ALTRA I have not worn and arch support sense. I hope this review help you in your search for a new shoe and if this is your first time with this brand, I hope you enjoy it. Happy trails.
