I purchased the black, and light purple/ almost heather grey. I really needed support for my foot, that I recently fractured. As soon, as I got these shoes I could walk without pain!! The cushion is harder, but it breaks in, and it has a lot! These are great for rain,mud, and snow! They don't get dirty!!! I really like the fit of the olympis 5 over the 6. I wear size 8, and it fits perfect.

These shoes run small so you need to size up a full size. I am a nurse and I bought these to wear to work because they are red and hide blood. They are really comfortable but they squeak! I am at my wits end with the squeaking. Everyone knows when I'm coming. They don't just squeak on the hospital floor. It's on any floor. I'm about done!!!

I was not sure about these at first as the no drop sole made my calves hurt after a long walk.However, I quickly got used to this and my usual hip/knee pain was minimal compared to when wearing my other boots.Seem to be well made.

Super bequem, toller Grip wenn es matschig oder rutschig ist. Die sehr dicken Schnürsenkel sind nicht ganz so meins, aber ich arrangiere mich damit. Die Schuhe sind sehr warm, nix für den Sommer, aber dafür sind sie auch nicht gekauft. Alles in allem rundum zufrieden.Nur über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch keine Aussage treffen, dazu habe ich sie erst 4 x getragen.

Le scarpe Altra non deludono mai. Comodissime, morbide e resistenti. Le consiglio vivamente, soprattutto a chi soffre di alluce valgo. Essendo più larghe in punta non stringono e non danno alcun fastidio , anche durante camminate impegnative. Ottimo il materiale in Goretex

These shoes are ok but not worth the money to me. They weren’t as comfortable as I thought they would be considering they’re running/jogging shoes. I expected more in terms of comfort than what I experienced.

Seems like a well-made shoe but I'm always a 7 to 7.5 and in these my toes were curled up against the front in a 7.5. Will have to send them back and try an 8.Aesthetics: Very thick soles- almost look like wearing platform shoes. But if they're comfortable I wouldn't really care about that.

They look just like on the pics. Great quality. I hat to to size size up 0.5 in comparison to other Altras or my usual size. And they feel so good on my feet :)

The wider toolbox makes them very comfortable. Took these on a 3 week European trip, averaged 5 to 8 miles each day and they remained perfectly comfortable all day. They are a little stiffer due to the waterproof material, which kept my feet dry on rainy days.

The reviews are important. These shoes run small. they are super heavy, the laces do not stay tied and are too short. The heel slips and they are super stacked. All of this I read in the review but thought I'd try them anyway. I went with Topos and they are awesome.

I read all your reviews (Thank y'all!!) and decided to give these a try. These hiking shoes are exactly what I was looking for. I usually wear proper LOWA boots for my hikes. But traveling overseas soon, I wanted a lighter shoe with similar tread and comfort, and waterproof. I ordered the same size as I wear in the Altra Solstice xt2 and they fit perfectly in length and width. My left heel feels like it might slip out in the back, but I was able to fix the issue by changing the way I tie the lace.I wore these shoes in the recent rain/snow showers and they kept my feet dry.I hope the soles hold up during my upcoming hike in the Alps.
