Plastic is great in RC vehicles because it flexes, which keeps it from bending or breaking. Aluminum is great for areas you don't want flexing. I like to have aluminum around my differentials (rear, center, and front). It provides better power transfer, and you can use lock-tight to keep your screws in place. This diff mount fits perfectly in my Kraton 6S. It looks fantastic and aligns with the other adjacent parts like OEM equipment. The included screws are a nice touch. I'd add a pic, but this is hard to see once you install it.
