More uses than just for dressing up fenders. I used these to replace the button-head bolts to make my motorcycle skid plate slide over obstacles easier and be less apt to break the head of the bolt off. Very functional modification.Works the business, they hold tight, look better, and are stroooong. Taken plenty of hits already and they just keep on trucking. Kit is a great value, as it gives me plenty of extras for this and other bikes taking the same size fastener. Very satisfied.

Quality seems great! However, I was short a couple of bolts and the black dress up hardware. Also, some of the black dress up hardware pieces were the wrong size. See pictures-

Needed a way to bolt on some fenders and splashguards to our UTV. Materials they were used on was plastic and thin sheet metal. Having access to both sides of the panels made install very easy. The outside of the fender washers sunk nicely into place and looks incredibly better than having bolt heads sticking out everywhere. Had plenty of washers to finish the product.These are both appealing and strong. Will definitely use these over regular bolts in the future.

These stainless M6 nutserts are packaged with rubber washers and black aluminum fender washers which the included pan head bolts set into for a smooth look. They do a good job of filling in holes and providing anchor locations in sheet metal, and add a customized look. The one thing I didn't like was the small gap which remains behind the fender washer, which could have been eliminated with a little recess on its backside to go over the lip of the nutsert. It's a very small gap, but I don't see how to eliminate it without dimpling in the sheet metal or machining the backside of the washers, maybe with a countersink bit. I had hoped these would be self-tightening, but I became educated on the need for a specific puller tool to expand the rivnut. With an M6 nut and some pliers and drilled piece of sheet, I was able to pre-expand them enough to then expand inside body holes from 3/8" to .41", but I realize this is not the specific metric hole size these are designed for. A proper hand, drill, or pneumatic rivnut puller tool will produce the best results. The included M3 hex wrench proved too soft for my tightening technique, and I had to use another which I had around. Oddly not mentioned in the listing is the proper hole size, which should be close to the OD of the nutsert at .35" or about 9mm. The lip of the nutsert is just under a half inch diameter at .48". The rivnuts are also all pictured upside down from how they are installed, which I find curious. I have a rivnut tool in my cart now to help with installing more of these, but at the very least the fender washers can find uses for distributing force of bolts over a wider area. At about fifty cents each these aren't cheap, but the stainless construction and anodized look of the fender washers adds a little fancy to anything.
