This radio is good for walking or doing tasks around the house. However, I have bought it several times and the batteries run out fast.

For the distance from the city it works well.

The radio has a built-in frequency interval of 10 kHz that does not work in Australia. It needs a frequency interval of 9 kHz. This is elementary. I sent it back.

The clock stays on, therefore, battery life is shortened.

During the summer months, the wife and I enjoy taking our dog and heading to one of several local drive-in movie venues. It was such a pain to have to keep starting the vehicle and stopping it to play the movie over the truck radio. This little unit (with a 3.5 audio jack - sold separately) plugs directly into my JBL tube, finds and connects to the venues fm broadcast channel and broadcasts the movie with FM stereo sound as loud as we see fit. Even during a 3 movie marathon on a Friday night, the batteries are only have used by the time we shut it down. Made our movie dates so much more enjoyable. It's the little things!

What's to like or dislike when the product does not work? I got this radio as a gift for someone else. It was worthless and a total waste of time and money. The radio would not pick up the desired station(s). The recipient lives in a rural area in a valley between hills. The signal was too weak to hear and with too much static to hear. The earphones were totally unusable--too close together for any human to use and too large for human ears. They seem to have been designed for a Chihuahua Dog. It was a huge disappointment for what was described as a wonderful product. I had to return it. Having never returned anything to Amazon before, I did not know how to return a product. Directions on Amazon's website were completely useless. I was supposed to scan a code, apparently with a cellphone. I don't have a cellphone, for the same reason's the radio doesn't work. We cannot get any reception due to our remote location. Everything today is designed for the city dweller. Never mind that many people who prefer to shop online, do so because of the inconvenience of shopping in person due to being in remote locations. I'm hoping never to shop at Amazon again, for this experience was very distasteful in many ways, especially the reaction of the recipient of the useless product, as well as the difficulty in trying to return the product which may not have been successful due to inadequate instructions by Amazon who obviously do not want their products returned. I cannot tell how disgusted I really am, do to Amazon's disallowing profanity in reviews.

Even as I doubt the publication of this review, I will write it with the hope that the manufacturer gets a clue.I'm sure it's a pretty good product, but the interpreter, who translated the instructions was likely native to where the product was made-ergo, "lost in translation". I was forever pushing buttons to get the clock setting correct-it is not intuitive. The attaching process for the wrist cord is another challenge, buy one and you will see. The simplest thing was just as difficult as setting the darned thing up.So, what do I like? The size and weight-perfectly unobtrusive for walking miles a day. Also, it uses 2-AAA batteries and not AA's, which would have put it into "bulky". The screen is large and very legible. It's a good product and if you can figure out the manual as it relates to the radio, you'll be fine. I would buy it again, if they provided a better translation.

OK, it's kinda nice. Very small. Good display. Gets the right FM station, but like all transistor radios, the AM side of things is pretty much nowhere. And the sound quality is pretty fine for the little bugger. But the real problem is that 80% of the capabilities you can read about on the instruction sheet are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to comprehend. Written in ENGRISH for the most part and the more you try, the less it seems to matter. Just find a station you like, plug in the ear phones, and go walk the dog while hearing what you enjoy. As for the alarm clock, station presets, etc.... FUGGETABOUDIT.

I have been collecting transistor radios for 30 years. I have hundreds of radios from the 1950s thru the 1980s. These are not for daily use. They are collectibles. I say this only to say I know pocket radios.I have several newer radios that I use for when doing chores and listening to talk shows or music. I like a radio that has digital tuning with station presets. Also a radio with a headphone Jack and a speaker. This radio has it all. The only negative is it is a little hard on batteries. Because of that I use rechargeable batteries and the problem is solved. The large lighted screen is a big plus. This radio is small enough to fit any shirt pocket. You can’t go wrong buying this radio. A great radio!
