My grand daughter found these skates to be very uncomfortable and her skating teacher said they were not appropriate for learning to figure skate. Very sadly I was unsure to get a refund, so I totally watered my money : (

Been looking for a small slate for my 3 year old as the skating rink's rental was still too big. Easy to adjust size and lock. Definitely beats the laces. Perfect fit for my 3 year old girl.

I like that they go on fast with the buckles instead of laces, sooo much faster and easier. Best part is we don't need to order a new pair, just adjust to her growing feet. LOVE IT!!!

I don't know why the product is listed incorrectly here on Amazon as well as on the product's own website. I got what I was looking for, which is different from the description:1) The blade is shown in picture as a hockey blade (rounded at back) -- what I got was a figure skating blade (jutting out at back) which is what I wanted and is good for little kids to use in introductory skating classes2) sizing - I don't know why the size is listed as "6Y-9Y" -- this corresponds to toddler 6-9 sizes that is typical for 2 year old to 4 year old. This is what I wanted and so worked out perfectly!

First I didn’t know how it can be adjustable than when received very easy to adjust accordingly ding to my 5 year daughters feet, she says it is comfy. I found tightening straps little bit difficult for 5 years old but fir parents isn’t that problem. Overall it’s a good buy and not expensive at all.

I love how easy it is for my daughter to put on and take off these skates by herself. I also like how she will be able to use these for a few years since they are adjustable. The only bad thing is they are easy to get filled with snow in the front. Where laces would normally keep the snow out these tend to fill up with nothing really there to stop the snow from getting in.

These are great! Easily adjustable, perfect for my girls. We bought two identical sets for our 5 yr old girls. They couldn't wait to put them on. Our first time on the ice was pain free this season. No fumbling with skates that had become to small. Adjustments were made and we were good to go. The girls also said that unlike their last pair, these were much more comfortable, and the harder outer shell kept them stabalized.
