this is a good quality piece of equipment but did not work in my application. I needed a somewhat flexible shaft as there is a bend at the top of the shaft. My fault, not the equipment. Be sure your systems takes a straight shaft with no flexiblity needed.

Fits perfectly on American Standard Hampton bathroom faucet. I believe this is like the original "OEM": chrome plated plastic knob and brass (though the rod is a dull silver color) rod. Tested the rod with a magnet and it is non-ferrous. On my old unit, the knob cracked in half after many years and I tossed it so can't give a direct compare.

works great for what I needed and looks good too. highly recommend as it is made well. I needed to be rid of the horrible A.S. speed connect and replaced with these. drain closes perfect now. Speed connect sucked horribly.
