the actual diverter function on this is terrible. It Does not divert all the water, a ton still comes out the spout when showering, and when you are running the tub, it does not have enough flow, so that it backs up and runs out the shower head continuously. I purchased this because it most closely resembled the set I had. Very disappointed in this product. Cheaply made, poor function. Cost for this product was much higher than it should have been. This product isn't worth $10

I don't know what's with the new diverter spouts but they leak water when the water is diverted. This one leaks a lot of water. The plumber told me to get a cheap diverter rather than a fancy one. I just happen to have a danco diverter so he changed the spout and there was no leaks. The spout that came with the tub and shower fixture also leaked. I order another danco and will replace it when I receive it.

It's a nice, modern tub spout. Very solid metal. No real issues, although the installation with a slip-on spout was a pain compared to a threaded spout. It hasn't leaked for us, though the diverter tends to stay up after using the shower, and then finally goes down about 20 minutes later, startling me with a sudden gush of water! This also came with no installation instructions, which would have been nice to have.

Received and installed today. This is very high quality brass. It probably weighs 5 times as much as the plastic piece of crap that was on there. I'm pretty sure that in this case, weight = quality.It slips on simply to a 1/2" stub-out and has a set screw to hold it in place. Takes maybe 2 minutes to install if you are set up to receive it.

This is a very nice looking tub spout and it has a very attractive price. However, the spout's internals are very poorly made. The spout leaks through the screw hole that holds the spout to the nipple (pipe that you slip the tub spout onto). This mainly happens when you pull the diverter up (to start the shower). The tub spout also leaks when you turn off the water. Overall, the spout is very modern and sleek, but it doesn't seem to be very functional. I returned mine.
