We had some humming in our lights, so decided to try these ones. We replaced every light with these and no more humming! These were also cheaper than the previous ones we purchased.

They're extremely easy to install. It took all of 20 minutes for me to install 7 in my kitchen and livingroom. There's a socket that plugs into the orange plug that makes it act like a bulb socket. My only complaint is that I wish they could be a little brighter.I'll try to update if anything changes.

UPDATE: this is a really great company that stands behind their products and ensures great customer satisfaction. Since my last review the seller's reached out to me about my concerns with the lights. They sent me out a replacement set. I was surprised with all this because I've never had a seller to respond to a review to make things right and to make sure I was happy with their products. I've since then changed my star rating to 5 instead of 2. This is a great set of replacement lights and great customer service they do stand behind their products and want their customers to be happy with their purchase from them. Don't hesitate to buy them.originally purchased these as replacement lights in my kitchen for my recessed outlets. I've tried other brands before that were wonderful, until they burned out. So this replacement I was pleased in the beginning after installing them, but 3 months later the lights start to flicker when they're dimmed to lower level. Now I have to turn them up to the highest level to stop the lights from flickering. I would not purchase these lights again. If you like to have a flickering light show in your kitchen or any other space in your home then purchase these.

I bought this 12 pack to replace my current recessed lights. I have 10 which I "installed" a few years back. One of them spontaneously cracked so I bought this to replace. I bought a 12 pack instead of 1 single because I couldn't pass up the price AND I was concerned it wouldn't "fit in" with the others. It fits in okay - the white part is actually white (my current ones are a little off-white) and the light is brighter than my current ones (I have it set to 4000k to match as close as possible as the other settings were off). The hardest part of installing these was taking the old one out. Once I managed to get it out, I was able to screw in the "light bulb" part, hook up the wire clip and slide the light into place. Not including taking out the old one, the total install tool about 2 minutes. For what it's worth, the light is in front of my refrigerator and it's much nicer to see the area now! HahaVery happy with my purchase. Will probably replace all the others because the white part is very nice and clean looking.

I bought 7 sets of these for my home in western Florida.Pros:If you have HALO "cans" in the ceiling, these are a great swap out, and they work great with Lutron Caseta as the dimmer. They provide a better seal to the ceiling than the old HALO trim, even if you still have "popcorn" ceiling.I especially like the three settings on this light. I am a "soft white" 2800 person that appreciates an incandescent hue to my lighting. My wife is a "bright daylight" 5000 kind of gal. The nice part is we could settle on the mid setting on this three-setting device. The other positive comment is that the stepped baffle provides a real "depth" look to the light when it is not on, adding a small architectural interest. The only Con so far: Their idea of "Damp Rated" and mine must be different.Yes, three of my outdoor lights have dropped their plastic lenses. You will see a picture that was uploaded by a different reviewer, and it's true, it happens. The good news is that when it does, just take down the light, put the cone back in, and then the ledge just above that cone is where you use superglue. They type that comes with a small brush is best. Then put the lens there and you are all set. The annoyance is offset by the low price and great appearance. If it is just the few outdoor lenses, I can live with that. Only time will tell if the interior ones have that problem as well.Hopefully, our reviews that address this issue will have the manufacturers change their glue, as this is the only thing that prevented a "5" review.
