So I mainly use mason jars and or jars for most of my storage of foods nicknaks and whatnots. I got these to go along with the rest. I enjoy how easy they are to use and the quality. The lids also fit my other jars so it's nice to sometime switch the colors of the jars

These work great and are reasonably priced. We use a foaming hand soap from Dottera and their plastic bottle replacements are as much as two of these. These look great in the kitchen and one in our RV.

Had had these for a little over a year now and I bought 2 sets because I thought they looked great. It's a good thing they came with extra pump heads because 2 of the four broke. One of the pumps started sucking air in rather than pushing foam out. The other simply stopped pumping. I don't know if it's good or bad that they packed extra pump heads in. It's almost like they knew the products don't last very long but I guess if they knew that, at least they anticipated it.

Love the look of these jars and would have given a five start rating except, one jar's pump does not work very well. One works great... easy to push and the foamy soap dispenses as intended. The other does not. It is difficult to push the pump down, needs two hands at times, and the soap dribbles out, not very foamy at all. Same soap in the two dispensers. At a glance, the mechanics all look to be in order, but still, it requires herculean effort to make it work. If it was a set of one, then this would be a different review... one way or the other.

These work pretty well! Here are a few pointers for how to use them.1. You can't just put hand soap in here. It's definitely going to be too thick and will clog the dispenser. It's designed to use foaming hand soap.2. If you want to use normal hand soap anyway, you can try cutting it with water. Fill the jar to the first line with soap, then try adding, say, 3 more lines worth of water. Stir it with the handle of a spoon or fork instead of shaking it; the froth from shaking makes it hard to mix properly. This should work great and is much cheaper than buying foaming hand soap directly. You may find the internet warning you against this strategy, though, due to risk of creating a home for bacteria. I'm not qualified to assess that worry.Q: It broke! The top sort of fell into the lid?! A: remove the lid from the jar. Now reattach the pieces of the lid to each other. The white ring comes from the bottom and screws into the top piece, sandwiching the main lid piece. Now reattach the lid.Q: It stopped pumping soap out! Now it blows bubbles into the liquid in the jar instead?! A: There is a small transparent ball that sits in the small bottom exit of the transparent drum. This acts as a valve: when you press down, it seals the bottom of the drum so soap is forced out the top. If you're blowing bubbles instead, probably the ball got dislodged. Maybe it's loose in the drum. Try not to lose it!

Works as described, foams alright - works well with diluted Dr Bronner's liquid castile soap. Material feels solid and ok. Bigger than I expected. Unfortunately, when you turn the dispenser head to unlock it, it does not align with the body - just a tiny problem for perfectionist customers.

If you're looking for ways to reduce your family's use of plastic disposable items, this is a winner. We've been using it for over 3 months now and are 100% pleased. We bought a 2-pack of SoftSoap Advanced Clean gel hand soap from Costco and have been using about 4 tablespoons (you can adjust to your preferences) of that gel in one of these jars, then filling it with water. Makes perfect foaming soap. The kit comes with 2 complete dispensers and 2 spare pump mechanisms. I didn't realize it came with spares and was thrilled. The jars are standard Mason jars, so if you break one, it's simple and cheap to replace. You can also add essential oils (about 15-20 drops) and food color (1 or 2 drops max) to make colored soaps and scents. Add the essential oil directly to the gel soap before mixing with water. Stir it in completely, then add that mixture to the jar and fill with water and swirl thoroughly--if you don't swirl thoroughly, the gel will temporarily clog the foaming mechanism and make it hard to use until you can clear it out with warm water and patience).
