The dongle sometimes takes a minute to connect, but it has worked consistently since setup. I would recommend this to anyone that has a wired android auto connection as it is great being able to go wireless. I only wish it could connect to apple car play as well.

After trying out one of these, I ordered a second for my wife's car.It was very easy to set up. Each time we start the car it connects with our phone before we have even backed out of the driveway.Unlike some built in wireless systems installed on some newer cars, we have not experienced any delays with navigation, which was my big concern.During our in-town trips (30 min) I have not noticed a big draw on the battery.I am very pleased with the purchase and wish that there was a comparable item for car play so I could get one for my dad as a gift.

I have tried many wireless Android Auto dongles. And, this far exceeded my expectations. It is faster than modern 2025 Audi factory Android Auto wireless connection. This is definitely the best in the competition. Hopefully, the dongle lasts a long time.

Connected my phone and not long a got a warning that attempts to my password were made without my approval.Could be coincidence but I'd rather not risk it.Returned it and just made my own with a raspberry pi w2 with an enclosure for about $30ish.Look it up and you'll find the Github for it.

I purchased 2 other AA wireless adapters for my 2022 Toyota Highlander, both more expensive than this one, but neither of the other 2 adapters worked properly. This one was perfect - practically plug 'n play. No issues whatsoever. I plugged it in, my phone and car both recognized it right away and I was good to go.I have used this product for several weeks now without any issues whatsoever. Love it!
