This cordless angle grinder requires you to bring your own 18v compatible Makita battery. The compatible battery snaps in perfectly. I was honestly surprised at the power this grinder has. Perfect for small projects which is all I needed. Make is so convenient not being tied to a cord adds more freedom of movement. The grinder is well made and does not feel cheap at all. The trigger is very responsive and has different speed settings. Comes with a bunch of different disks to get you started and the tools to change them out. Overall great small grinder that has worked very well so far. For the price point this is a great deal!

This cordless angle grinder does not come with a battery. It's clear in the description, yet I somehow still missed it. The grinder itself is good quality. It handles well and runs easily. We put it through the paces and it met every challenge well. A good value, especially if you already have a compatible battery.

This is a really nice angle grinder at this price point. It does not come with a battery and I was hoping my Dewalt batteries would fit but they don't. Thanks to another review I found that makita batteries fit, so I tried that and it worked great. It has a great variety of discs to get started with and the directions are very straight forward.

I got this grinder because it's compatible with seesiii battery 21v...... I have had 6 different 21 v grinders, I like to scrap metal on my days off... This cut through 1" aluminum tube on an angle without out stopping.... Previous grinders quit when too much pressure is applied, right out of the box... weak trash grinders.... Though aluminum is soft metal, the angle I cut made it work hard, and it has an immediate hard "kick" when I press the trigger... Claims 120000 rpm while others claim 10.5 maximum.... It feels like it gets up there.... Immediate top speed within a second.... If anyone can write a review on angle grinders, it would be me, and this runs strong and powerful for minutes straight. Great product, doesn't quit on hard cuts! I'll update if it fails because I'll be cutting thru feet of steel every month. So far ,10/10, impressed with it's performance out of the box.

This is nice, well worth the money, works great, speed is just right, but you do have to have a battery for it. It does not come with it. I recommend this.

I have an corded electric grinder that I rarely use just because I don't like stringing a cord every time, it has a purpose but daily use on a whim is not it.Enter THIS Makita battery compatible grinder, I have used this more than my 5 year old corded one just because of convenience.This has a LOT of power for a cordless and I have used it almost daily without any issues at all. Adjustable speed allows for a wide range of use.Very happy with this tool, highly recommend
