These are very good quality, they do what they are meant to do. No more scratches or clawing.

Well made and seems durable. I use these gloves to play with my 50 lb catahoula and the gloves seems to hold up well when other gloves last about two times playing with her and they're done but these do seem to be pretty durable so far good pick.

Fantastic. I'm babysitting a cat that has to get 2 injections a day. I put the left glove and give her the injections with my right hand. She tries to rip me to pieces but can't with these. Only issue I cannot give the injection with the glove on my tight hand.

Just as several reviewers mentioned, the size of this is ridiculously large for almost everyone. I have small hands, but I took a chance on this item anyway because I was drawn by the lower price. I also needed some protective gloves fast because I had to kennel a huge feral cat for several weeks and needed some safety measures. However, the cat turned out to be a real softie, so I ended up only using these for the garden. These gloves are true leather and fared well against several types of roses, small cacti, and even a huge barrel cactus. The roses proved to be no problem at all; if roses are what you're dealing with, I'd say this will fit the bill. I was completely protected down to almost my elbows. The small cacti had clusters of 1/2" thorns and those posed no issue for the gloves either. Now, the barrel cactus was what pushed these gloves to the edge. This cactus has monstrous THREE- TO FOUR-INCH thorns, and some of those thorns curled downwards. They dug hard into the gloves, some snagged against the gloves' seams (yes, there are seams across the palm, that's just how they are constructed) but only one thorn actually pierced the glove. I wasn't hurt, just felt a little sharpness while I was moving the cactus. All in all, the gloves are a good value and will withstand most types of thorns in the garden. As long as you are aware of the limitations due to the large size (no detailed work or handling of small tools will be possible), this product will serve its function.
