I dislike coats - but this is very lightweight & I don’t mind wearing it. Keeps me warm and it’s washable on cold temp. Very affordable.

Yes, the coat is lightweight and packable but the end of the sleeves, the black rubber is falling apart, it looks used! Also there are threads coming out from parts of the coat.I am returning it and re-ordering it, in case I received a coat that was used.

I ordered this on a whim for my upcoming trip to the desert in January. I wanted something warm, but lightweight and packable so it wouldn’t take up a lot of room in my luggage. As soon as I put it on, it fit perfectly, I love the color, I’m very pleased with this purchase.

I tried another “plus size” coat that barely zipped up. Looking at others measurements I found many were the same. Cut very slim to be labeled “plus size”. But this is perfect. Great length. Just the right level of warmth for me (I don’t get very cold, so this might not be enough for some, or for extended periods of time in very cold temps) the material is extremely soft for a water repellent material.

But that's not necessarily a bad thing, especially since my version of a deep winter coat is just a flannel I've been using for the past 10 years. I'd still use it expect the zipper is starting to split and not work. The 2x fits perfectly, but I wish I'd gone a size up for heavier winter underclothes, but this is true to size. One reason I don't usually do puffy coats is because they ARE thick and add a lot of bulk to me; that this is thinner is actually a good thing and lends to its comfort factor. Will it be warm enough? Oh, probably. I don't need much unless it dips into the negatives. It has a hood (BIG bonus!) and side pockets (huge bonus!) so this ticks all the boxes. Not sure it'd be water resistant much less water proof, but I'll find out when it starts to snow. So far, so good!

Got this jacket for my wife to keep in the car as a spare jacket. I liked the fact it can fold/roll up to a quarter of its size and fit in a nice little cinch bag that can be tucked away nicely. Now the only reason I knocked a star off is due to price. While I think the $55 to $60 price is fair... I have seen some name brands that are in the ballpark of the asking price. Also keep in mind sizes are more leaned towards Asian sizing and glad we decided to go up 2 sizes in this jacket.

I would like to say how this jacket performa, however, it arrived slashed at the chest and the filling coming out. It did fit, and felt warm.
