I don't really know what to say, but that while we were excited to see how well the new fuse fit into our old canner, it did not allow enough pressure to build up within the canner to put 10 pounds of pressure on it for canning vegetables. Due to gardening season in full swing, we went ahead and purchased a new canner. During off season I may explore the fuse and its workings a little more.

Needed 15 psi. Plug blew out at around 10psi. Waste of money for higher pressure uses.

This safety pressure fuse was an easy replacement for my 1950's Mirro pressure cooker that had the old metal plug. No problems with the install. Just be sure get the threads lined up properly so the aluminum lid does not become cross threaded.

I bought one previously was real happy with it. This one is very cheaply made don’t even know if it’s gonna work. I wish I had one like I bought a week or two ago.

I was so glad to find this pressure cooker safety fuse for my 60-year old Mirro 4-quart pressure cooker from the ANTOBLE store on Amazon. The Mirro cooker uses a screw in pressure safety fuse, and when my old fuse just gave up from age, I expected I would have to buy a new cooker. When I stumbled on this one on Amazon I was elated. I only use the pressure cooker for artichokes now days, and while it was pretty difficult getting the remnants of the old fuse out, the new one screwed in easily, and tightened securely. Now all I need is an artichoke!
