I make small steaks or chicken breast daily but my pans kept getting way too hot top fast (probably an oven problem) so the insides were always raw while the outside looked beautiful. But now cooking steaks with a lid on cooks the inside beautifully! The tongs are extremely slippery so they're not much help but that's my only complaint. Love this! ❤️

This is smaller than I thought it would be, but it does a better job than I thought it would do at first. I am somewhat conflicted on this electric grill. When I first read about it, I thought that one whole side was with ridges or you could flip it over and the other side is smooth. But I was wrong. You can only use one side of it and 1/2 of the one side has ridges and the other 1/2 half is smooth. So then I thought you could cook two things at one time. But when I just cooked hamburgers, the grease ran over to the smooth side, since there isn't anything to prevent it from doing that. So I guess you just use whichever 1/2 of it that you want at a time. It did cook the hamburgers nicely, quickly, and with little shrinkage. So that is the main reason I gave it 4 stars. I cooked it on low. As per the instructions, I did heat it without food for 10 minutes the first time as it has a film that could smoke off at first and they say that is normal. I didn't notice any smell or smoke, but I did it anyway. I put a little bit of oil on a paper towel and rubbed it on the grill the first time I used it and it didn't stick, even when I put cheese on my burgers. The insturctions didn't say how to put the knob on the top, so I had to look it up and experiment with it. Perhaps it was just me, but it still only took a try or too and not much time. The instructions does tell how to use it and some troubleshooting ideas. One of the things that confused me though was on the back page under Product Warranty. It says "This warranty is only for use in Korea and will not be reissued, so please keep it in a safe place." I did feel that the pamphlet was written by someone that English isn't their first language, but as long as it works, that's all that matters to me. I recommend it for someone that doesn't cook a lot at one time or doesn't have much room. It is cute and heated up and cooked well, which is what it is to do.

This AORAN 600W Dual-Zone Electric Skillet is tiny—definitely meant for one or two people, not an average man looking for a big meal. That said, it actually helps keep portion sizes smaller, which can be a good thing if you're trying to eat more mindfully.It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, and the flat & ribbed grill sections make it versatile for different foods. I also love that it comes apart for easy cleaning, which is a huge plus. If you're looking for a compact, efficient little skillet, this is a great choice!

Shame on me for not paying attention to the dimensions. This thing is tiny which impacts my review because I don't think it's the best value given the size. The look and quality is nice. The grill is lightweight and the footprint is small so it will store well. For the price, I would want something larger. This will get used though.Here’s my rating scale for products:1 Star: Regret ordering due to serious flaws/product failure.2 Stars: I wouldn't order again because product is subpar.3 Stars: Not my personal preference. I'd choose an alternative product if given another opportunity but this is ok.4 Stars: Recommend ordering. This product met my expectations.5 Stars: I love this product.
