I guess it isn't fair to ding a product because of a picture but one of the reasons I ordered these is they look like they are black in the picture so I thought they were. In all fairness it does not say they are black in the description so my assumption was wrong. These are perfectly fine lag screws but if the color matters to you they are not black.

Used to fasten T-boned 2"x4"s to a 4"x4" horizontal post supporting a swing. Carpenter bees made the 4"x4" post unsafe.

The lag screws and washers were advertised as black. They were not even dark colored. They are galvanized and shiny. Still have to paint them. Great price though!

for the price Home Depot cant touch this price, 25 of these at the Depot would run $2.50 each x 25 =$62.50for $19 you get 25 lag screws and I only got 18 washers, but even with the missing pieces these are extraodinarily less, quality seems good for the first 25 I ordered
