We have an issue with moles digging into my raised beds. This wire cloth was put down in the bottom of the bed to stop them from digging up through the bottom and eating my plants. It works great! I recommend it for keeping pests away from your plants.

This 304 Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh is perfect at the 1/2" cloth size. The 15.7" by 9.6' size is great for small projects, repairs, or around the garden. It has a sturdy structure to it, and I don't worry about it falling apart. This mesh has the very nice benefits of having an anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion features as well. This is a great hardware cloth!

I got this to protect some clover seeds around a newly made backdoor stoop from being eviscerated by my chickens. It has held up as expected through the course of winter, no rust, decent thickness, just what I'd expect for such a product.

I make my own moss poles for my climbing tropical plants. I've tried vinyl coated and galvanized hardware cloth and they're ok for awhile but do eventually rust on me. So now here I am trying out this well made stainless steel type. So far so good with it. This wire, while not galvanized, feels much sturdier than many other brands I've tried that are the same gauge. There were no missed welds or warped spots. The only thing I had to change when building my moss poles was I had to use some sturdier zip ties because this wire is quite a bit more stiff than everything I've used in the past. I hope this wire will last longer than my others. If it doesn't I'll be back to update my review. As of now I'm very happy with this hardware cloth and am giving it a yes.

Came with a nice set of gloves! The roll of wire mesh is sturdy, but flexible. The squares are small enough for critters to not get through. The price-point is a bit high.

I bought this for an aviary containing Parrots. Unfortunately it is way thinner than the galvanized hot dipped steel version you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot. My parrots will chew right through it in a half second. Pretty expensive for how thin it is. Will work fine for chickens or smaller birds.
