Correct part doesn’t work

I had to shave the guides off the sides to get it to go into my plug and the three prongs matched up after that and allowed it to plug in and snap in but didn't fix the problem and I don't know if it's not working or what.

Ordered for my 2014 Silverado High Country front bumper, it didn't fit, but it think it might've fit the rear bumper, which is what most people would need it for anyway.

I was a little doubtful this would work because the price was so low… but it did! Removing my bumper was a pain in the —-but the sensor itself just clicks into place. My backup sensor is working great now, and it was a really inexpensive repair.

Install was easy. Fixed my DIC message and works again for piles of money less then OEM. To test to see what one is not working. Put your vehicle in reverse not running and use your phone video camera and record. It picks up a ticking noise you can’t hear and the one not making any noise is the broken one. Works very well

You will need to modify the sensor

Perfect fitment system recognized it, though you may have to start the vehicle 2 times before it does if you had a warning due to a damaged one prior to new installation. Literally a 5 min job!

GM wanted about 130 bucks for this part. Hooked it up and it worked perfect! If you put your car in reverse with ignition on and the engine not running and go to the rear by the sensor, If it is working it will have a clicking sound. Check each one. If you don't here the clicking sound it is not working! Replace the one that is not working and it will be repaired. It is that simple. I thought I was going to have to send to dealer to repair. These things work. Make sure you pick the right application for you vehicle!

The "lay-person" can do it themselves. This simple "plug-n-play" helps one to save money that auto dealers try to get.

I purchased for my 2007 Chevy Avalanche and it has a different style connector so it will not plug in. The parts checker said it was right but it is clearly the wrong part. I was traveling a lot so when I realized the problem it was past the return date and I believe I am stuck with the wrong wrong part.
