I don't like to write negative reviews but I hope this helps APDTY and buyers know of this issue.Installed this into the gas tank to fix a leak when the gas is filled to full on a 2004 Mustang, and it did not fix the leak.A month later I went back to work on the tank again and found the gasket sheared in half and swollen... clearly the gasket either couldn't handle gasoline and/or the little bit of seafoam that was in the gas tank. I went to O'reilly's and bought a replacement. That O'reilly's gasket fixed the leak.Most noticeable was how much softer the rubber from this gasket was than the one from O'reilly's. It did make installation much easier but obviously having incompatible rubber isn't acceptable...Picture of product was taken weeks after I replaced the gasket with the O'reilly's one (ignore the ignition coil pack). The rubber became un-swollen by then.

Orders this I stead of OEM because this one shipped faster and that was a huge mistake. After not even a month it cracked and fuel was literally pouring, not just dripping, when I filled my tank. Had to drive home and back to shop with fuel leaking on hot exhaust. Not Safe!!

Had a pretty bad fuel leak and the filler neck and this thing fixed it right up. It saved me quite a bit of money in gas that i was loosing
