It seemed to be responsive to the liftgate switch when pushed, but ultimately the latch on the actuator wouldn’t lock into place to shut the trunk. The trunk would literally bounce back to me when I tried to shut it. I had to put the old part I was trying to replace back on in order to get my trunk to shut again.

The build quality seemed as good as what was on there from the factory. Once installed it works as advertised. Only time will tell of its longevity. I would feel confident in recommending this product.

So far so good. Installed innabout 20min. Body panel tools and 2 7mm screws to replace latch. Seems much quieter than OEM I replaced. Seems like product is quality and fit and finish is good.Purchased this part because latch would not unlock liftgate. Relay and other door locks works.
