The axle was an exact fit and installation was straightforward with the exception of an unexpected transmission oil dump when I removed the old axle. The fill hole for the 2003 r50 5 speed is above the axle and removing the axle allows a good amount of transmission oil to pour out making a huge mess on the garage floor. Drain the transmission before removing the axle and be prepared to refill once the axle is installed.

Works as intended. Oem spec. Direct fit. Center bearing pre installed so it's that much easier. You can probably refer to your repair manual or YouTube (or best friend who has white beard from years of attaining valuable knowledge) for the rest of the need to know.Good luck!
