My 2006 Ram 2500 5.7 was having very minor overheating problems. Randomly while pulling my 33ft camp trailer the temp would creep up a little. While hot one time I grabbed the old fan and spun it (engine off) and it had zero drag. So I bought this one. Now it seems like it's always locked even when just starting out in the morning. I have a lot of fan noise, lower power, and lower fuel economy. Unfortunately I threw the old one away already. I'll be looking for a new one.

Product does not operate properly when it should. When the engine temperature goes above normal operating temp the clutch engages about 5% of the time. Put this on for plowing and now I can’t drive more than 5 miles down the without my truck overheating!
