This valve replaced the original one on my 2009 Elantra, after the Malfunction indicator lamp(MIL) went on . My mechanic recommended this valve and I bought it - its price is about 1/8 of the Hyundai OEM valve price. It's two months already and have no issue with it.Update Feb. 2025: No issues still.

I have a 2011 Kia Soul Plus, and this original VVT went bad. I noticed that the top metal portion is larger, though it still fit perfectly and is still working and my car runs a lot smoother.
