A customer brought this to me to install about 6 months ago, I was a little concerned about the rubber, it does not feel like most fuel tubing should. Well now I have the vehicle back because it's leaking gas everywhere when filling up. The rubber has dry rotted and split in multiple places. Not even sure if the rubber is meant for fuel.

Mounted right up and slid into place. One mounting hole at top wasn’t perfect and I drilled a hole in the flange and it worked perfectly. One minor modification for the price difference of a Ford oem was well worth 5 minutes extra work

I bought this because it had both the filler neck and the connecting hoses. As another reviewer stated, the mounting flange was welded off center and the holes do not line up with the mounting holes in the van. So I discarded the filler neck and just used the hoses. Well one year later (just days after the one year warranty) both the filler hose and the vent hose have deteriorated and are leaking fumes. Don't waste your time or money on this one.

My mistake was not specifying (Super Duty) dual wheels! because it is a single wheel but it is a model capable of receiving double wheels so the length of the rubber hose is not long enough, everything else is identical so I put a hose that I already had and everything is in its place .

Great deal for the price, but fit was sketchy. It came with new hoses and clamps - yes! - but the upper flange that is held to the body flange with 3 machine screws was clocked and welded about 15 degrees off compared to the original. The 3 holes on one flange therefore didn't line up with the 3 holes on the other. It was just possible to get the holes aligned and the screws started by loosening the hose clamps and rotating the entire assembly 15*, which brought the overflow pipe into contact with the frame and no more rotation was available. It worked, barely. Someone at the factory is getting pushed too hard or only cares about putting units into boxes. The other fix is to assemble normally w/misaligned holes, mark new locations on the neck flange, remove the assembly and drill holes at the work bench, far away from the open gas tank! I'd do that if there's a next time. Drill smaller holes than the screw thread. They're self-tapping and drilling another size larger later is way easier than finding screws for oversized holes. Another snag was the springy squeeze clamp the factory installed on the larger main filler pipe. It's there to grab onto a steadying tab that sticks out right above that pipe. You're supposed to line everything up (at 0* deviation, presumably), squeeze the clamp tabs with pliers/vise grips, and slip it over the tab. It's a tough job with the 15* deviation I had. Numerous steps had to be done in exactly the right order, and that took several attempts to figure out. Make it easy on yourself by removing the large hose and substituting a regular worm gear clamp positioned for screwdriver access. Last tip: When loosening/tightening the hose clamps at the tank ends, I used a Craftsman 1/4" drive ratchet and socket. That ratchet has a thin but broad head. At 24mm across and with the socket attached, it wouldn't fit thru the bottom gap between the tank and the frame rail after I dropped it. I had to pick it up with a skinny telescoping magnet and carry it to the rear where the upper gap was wide enough for removal. This took several pickup-and-drop cuss sessions. Stuff a rag into the upper tank/rail gap and life is a beach again. This assembly was not cheaply made. It was, however, almost badly made. Stop and compare various orientations after removing the old assembly to spot potential mismatches and solutions.

This filler neck came with both hoses for less than you can buy just the 1-1/2 hose itself, fit perfectly on a 1995 Ford E-150
