The product itself is fine and deserves 5 stars.However, my particular 02 F250 Super Duty (142" wheelbase, short bed) does not accept these straps. If you have a 142" wheelbase F250, do not use these as they will not work.My fault though, forgot to check my wheelbase to match product fitment details. This is why I'm not lowering my star rating.

When I bought my truck it had a ratchet strap as an acting gas tank strap so this was a necessary buy and I'm glad I did, quick and easy to put on, Installation was a breeze, about15 minutes.Very sturdy and durable.Nice price too!

After calling my local ford dealer and hearing they wanted close to $400 for just the 2 straps I started looking elsewhere. I was Leary at first with them only costing $65, and after reading the reviews afraid that I would spend a lot of time messing with them to get them to fit. I decided to take the chance and to my surprise they fit perfectly. No bending or messing around required. Replaced both straps and cleaned up in less than an hour and a half. I would definitely recommend these if you're looking for straps. My truck is a 2008 F350 super cab diesel for reference. My straps rotted and broke, however all 4 bolts came right out easily. Remember to wire wheel your threads, use never seize, and to use hand tools ONLY to avoid fouling up the speed nuts.

I bought these fuel tank straps for my 2001 F350 extra cab with an 8' foot box. Product was exactly as described and fit like a glove you will have to use your old strap guards as they do come with your order. Durable and strong product and very well made.I highly recommend this product to anyone that is in need of this item.

Many reviews indicate only one strap fits so I'll be specific here regarding my application...I received two straps of slightly different dimensions. They were both a perfect fit for my 2002 F250 7.3 diesel w/standard cab, 8 foot bed, and 38 gal fuel tank mounted on the left side. The shorter strap goes on the front. They seem more rugged than the original straps (or what was left of the originals). I re-used the original plastic sleeves that go between the tank and the straps, they fit fine. Overall no issues so I'm happy.

I bought for a 2005 f350 6.8 crew cab. The rear strap fit pretty good. The front strap needed to be re bent to make it work and the hole drilled bigger.
