This part was for the center console fan speed controller, also known as a resistor, 3-4 hours, replacement time, watch you tube videos, really very helpful, a lot of sharp edges inside the console. Fan would only run on high speed, problem fixed, can't say on the longevity, just installed yesterday.

This product worked for my application. Installed in 09 Nissan Sentra. The blower seized up and burnt out the resistor along with it. Went to the auto store to buy this thinking oh its just a resistor, expecting not to pay that much. My jaw dropped when I saw that $100+ price tag, unbelievable!!! Resistors cost less than $1. There is probably less than $8 worth of components on the circuit board. Thank you for offering this at a respectable price. There are two types of these resister. One uses a transistor and the other uses a MOSFET. This is the MOSFET type. May or may not make a difference when installed. It didn't make a difference in my case. I replaced the old transistor type with this and it works. Unable to test it on the original fan because it failed also.
