The short, power steering return line U-curve hose was leaking in my high-mileage 08 Corolla CE. I did not need to replace the entire hose line (for now), but I decided to get the entire assembly in case I need the rest of the assembly in the future. The diameter of the new U-curve hose is perfect, as is the length of it including its U-curve. The old return line U-curve hose was difficult to pull off; after I squeezed/pulled the OEM clamps out of the way, I needed to use my hand to pull from the center of the bend in the U-curve hose. Slowly I worked the top, then the bottom, then continued alternating while trying to hold the metal tube of the original return line in place and also the reservoir in place as I alternated between pulling the top and bottom of the old leaky hose. I decided to reuse the OEM clamps on the new U-curve hose and it installed just fine. A picture of the new U-curve hose with the OEM clamps is included.I had the front tires off the ground and refilled the fluid needed in the reservoir. I followed a Chilton's manual I have for burping the power steering system, then drove an hour or so while periodically checking for leaks and the reservoir level in case I needed to add more power steering fluid. It's been only 100 miles, but so far, so good.
