Not sure if i got a one off, but the 3 holes for mounting the motor were not threaded. I used some longer thru bolts with a nut on the back, which was a little tricky with the little room to work with. Motor works great, just had to adapt.

Affordable and performs like OEM. Easy install with matching bolt holes and connectors.

It's not that often I leave a review, but this product exceeded my expectations! It was a perfect fit (right side, 1997 Thunderbird) and unlike other similar products had the correct and exact wire connector without the need for adapter pigtails. (More connections = more opportunity for corrosion/failure)Took about a half hour to install... and to comment on other reviews about the "holes not being tapped", the original screws are self tapping and threaded right in and worked perfectly with the new motor.

Installed motor. I can hear it clicking but will not move drive gear. Even with no load in my hand. I even had to tap the mounting holes. Missed return window by one day. Junk

Very quick and easy to install. Should have installed a long time ago instead of living with the original, old and tired motor.Seems to be well made. There are a few tricks that make the swap super easy. Watch a couple how to videos on YouTube.

As stated in header, this motor is advertised as "left drivers side" for 94 Lincoln Mark VIII.. It is not,, it is for the passenger right side. Motors do look to be factory quality though. Returned no problem and bought the one advertised by same company as passenger right side which is correct for left drivers side in my Mark VIII.

A lot of confusion on ordering a window motor and what the right and left mean to people, hope this helps someone. I bought this motor for the passenger window on a 1995 Ford F150 4×4 standard cab and it works great. Easy install and plugs right in to existing plug. Seems well made and hope it will last.

To start of with the negative on this - and it's only a little thing - but the operation is slower than the original motor. Not by much but noticeable. When considering that the window wasn't working before installing this and is working after, not really a concern. On the plus side of things, this motor is specific for this application so it comes with the correct Ford plug on a dedicated wiring harness. Some of the other compatible motors come with four or five different harnesses which plug into a universal connector attached to the motor. That introduces one additional point of failure that this replacement motor avoids. Some of the competitors' devices manufacture the body of the gear assembly out of plastic/resin and so those motors do not reuse the original mounting hardware but instead use coarse screws into the unthreaded plastic. This motor uses metal for the gear housing and threaded holes so the original hardware is reused. That seems like a more secure mounting when completed than the plastic housing versions.Installation is fairly straight forward if you can access the motor while the regulator is still attached to the door. If you need to remove the regulator from the door to remove the motor have care because of the counterbalancing spring that will be under compression and can cause harm if not securely held in place. When replacing the motor with the regulator still in the door, the trick is to first engage the small gear into the regulator and then rotate the motor in the direction that would wind the window down (assuming the window is all the way up) until the holes line up. You can't rotate the little gear because it's driven internally by a worm gear and it is guaranteed that the gear position on the new motor will not match the old exactly so it easily meshes.
